Podczas pierwszych zajęć Creative Reading uczniowie poznawali przygody bohaterów Leśnej Polany: rysia Rysia, sowy Zosi, zajęczycy Zuzi, bobra Borysa, jeża Jerzyka i lisa Lucka. Po wysłuchaniu tekstu tworzyli swoje pierwsze książki. Zaczęli od okładki, pojawił się tytuł, autor oraz ilustracje pokazujące głównych bohaterów. Pierwszaki stworzyli historyjki obrazkowe, natomiast uczniowie klasy drugiej napisali krótkie opowiadania.
Creative Reading classes began with familiarizing pupils with characters of Leśna Polana. They got to know: Rysio - the lynx, Zosia – the owl, Zuzia – the hare, Borys – the beaver, Jerzyk – the hedgehog and Lucek – the fox. After listening to the stories, pupils tried to prepare their first books. They started with organizing the cover: drawing ilustrations, writing the title and name of the author. Next were the stories. Grade 1 preapared picture books, grade 2 managed to write short stories presenting adventures of the characters from Leśna Polana.
