A lesson with a difference - a visit to a pharmacy

Dnia 07.11.2018 r. klasa IV b wybrała się na wycieczkę do apteki. Po dotarciu na miejsce uczniowie zostali zaproszeni na zaplecze, gdzie panie farmaceutki opowiedziały dzieciom o swojej pracy. Pokazywały, jak dużo leków znajduje się w aptece, wytłumaczyły, co to jest recepta, jak ją można realizować i kto może kupować leki. Dowiedziały się jak lekarstwa należy przechowywać i co z nimi robić gdy są przeterminowane. Najbardziej zainteresowało ich pomieszczenie, zwane recepturą. To właśnie tam przygotowywali własnoręcznie maści i syropy. Dzieci odmierzały określoną ilość składników potrzebnych do wykonania danego leku, mogły mieszać i ucierać różne składniki w moździerzu, przekładać maść do przygotowanych pojemników i robić opis wyprodukowanej receptury. Możliwość samodzielnego przygotowania specyfiku była dla nich bardzo atrakcyjna. Uczniowie mogli poczuć się jak prawdziwi farmaceuci i zagłębić tajniki tego zawodu. Na koniec każdy otrzymał wykonany przez siebie lek, dyplom i torbę z upominkami od apteki.

On 07/11/2018 class IV b went on a trip to the pharmacy. After reaching the place, the students were invited to the back room, where the pharmacists told them about their work. They showed how a lot of medicines are made in the pharmacy, they explained what a recipe is and who can buy medicines. The students learned how medicines should be stored and what to do with them when they are out of date. The children were most interested in the room, called "the recipe". That's where they made their own ointments and syrups. Children measured a certain amount of ingredients needed to perform the given drug, they could mix and grind the various ingredients in a mortar, put the ointments to the prepared containers and make a description of the produced recipe. The ability to prepare the specifics on their own was very attractive for the children. The students could feel like real pharmacists and
